Delaney Maitland is a Pittsburgh-based painter and writer from Mars, Pennsylvania. Maitland holds a BFA in studio arts and a BA in writing from Edinboro University, where she developed mixed-media paintings and creative non-fiction pieces exploring themes of instability, perception, and memory. Maitland’s work received the Chuck Palahniuk Creative Writing Scholarship, the Aimee Doucette Art Award, and the Outstanding Senior Thesis in Literature and was exhibited at the Erie Art Museum, Bruce Gallery, and Meadville Council on the Arts. In 2026, they completed a residency at Künstlerstadt Kalbe’s 12th International Winter Campus in Germany. Maitland works as a life model in Pittsburgh to connect and collaborate with local artists.
